Salvador Morales-Conde MD

Dr. Salvador Morales-Conde is Head of the Department of Surgery at Virgen Macarena University Hospital and Head of General and Digestive Surgery at Quirónsalud’s Sagrado Corazón Hospital in Seville. He is Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Seville and accredited as Full Professor by the Spanish Ministry of Health. An Academic Fellow of the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of Seville and Lugo, he is the former President of the Spanish Association of Surgeons (2020–2022) and the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) (2021–2023). Currently, he serves as President of the European Hernia Society (EHS). Dr. Morales-Conde has authored over 190 peer-reviewed publications, multiple books and chapters, and contributed to international guidelines and surgical classifications.
