Dr. Tollens is a leading international expert in complex hernia surgery and an active member of the European and Asian Hernia Societies. He regularly contributes to national and international congresses on minimally invasive surgery and herniology and conducts more than 25 advanced hernia surgery courses annually worldwide. He has delivered over 400 presentations at global surgical congresses and published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles.
